When Metal Sonic rebelled against Dr. Robotnik and disguised himself as a common racing robot, his ultimate goal was to copy the data of the other World Grand Prix contestants in order to upgrade himself into the ultimate racing machine, and prove his superiority once and for all. Though he was fated to be trounced by Sonic once again, he returns to the track for revenge, his eerie gaze fooling no one.
