A being of peace, Tikal is a deeply compassionate spirit who would do anything to save those she loves. When she failed to prevent the warmongering advances of her father Panchamac 3,000 years ago, she sealed both herself and Chaos inside of the Master Emerald to save the world from the monster's wrath. It was only because of the heroic exploits of Sonic and company that the pair were finally allowed to reach an absolution.
